I have a C6 changer that would like to used on a S11 E9 build.
I understand that the C6 is shorter than E9.
Can a ZB forum member advise me of the difference in measurements so I can modify this C6 changer.

The changers are the same and can be used on either neck.

Hi,
This the changer finger I have which appears to be different to to any I've seen on the net or forum. It came out of a D11 so is it factory.

Regards Danny

Wow, I've never seen one quite like that Shocked
Usually the tops have removable caps, although I had an early one without caps. But it had pins for the string ends, not a groove like yours.
Also, the threaded end is too short. So yes, that doesn't look like it would fit in a "normal" ZB changer housing.

Here's one

Hi,
Even though my changer is different the basic dimensions are the same. the question I have is when assembled and the strings tuned to E9 and the changer is tuned to the standard E9 copedent the raise pull tension is significantly higher than the lowers pull that the A B C pedals pressure is excessive.
Is this normal or have I missed something in the set up of the changer.
Appreciate any suggestions before I abandon this project completely.
