Hey all, my name is William. I'm not quite sure how well known Herbie may be around this site, but he was very active in the Mobile, Alabama area playing and building steels. I am here because he was my great great uncle before he passed away about 2 years ago this month. I am mainly reaching out to ask if anyone knew him, and if so, if you would be willing to share any anecdotes or stories about his professional life. As anyone who knew him would understand, he was very humble, and did not like to talk about his musical achievements with his family. Thank you all.
