Topic: (Fix?) B Pedal Change Split Very Strangely |

Hi!
The B pedal on my guitar has the first 95%+ of its throw dedicated to the 3 string raise.
Only the last tiny itty bit of the pedal's throw changes my 6th string! It's very abrupt and the pressure required suddenly jumps up a ton. The pedal is like a featherweight glide down to a 6th string button lol
How do I change this so both strings take up the full throw of the pedal? |

Are you using a plain 6th string or wound? If plain, try switching it to wound string first and re-tuning the pull for the 6th string. That should help significantly with the issue you described. Beyond that it depends on several variables. More specific info on the make/model of guitar, rodding setup, etc. will yield more accurate responses. Pics always help.

| You'll have to change the leverage on one or maybe even both of the pull rods involved. Different combinations of attachment point on the bell crank and different holes on the changer side. Trial and error is required. |

| Just move the 6th string rod to the closest hole on the bellcrank to the body. That may fix it. |

A little more detail...you can experiment to find how much closer to the body you need to move the 6th string rod along the bell crank so that the 6th and 3rd start moving together and finish together...you will have to retune the change each time you change the rod.
