Home studio guys.... here's a new discovery. Doing one man band recordings, the headphones become a problem. You have to move around a lot, and the cable gets tangled up in other things, or it doesn't reach and you have to remove the headphones to position a mic, or grap a different instrument, etc... Bluetooth will not work because it take a few milliseconds to process the audio and this results in unacceptable latency. Here's a good solution for less than $30 on ebay. The battery charge last for 24 hours and it charges quickly. They turn themselves off automatically after a period of inactivity. No latency and the sound is great. I used this system on the video (see link below) Steel is Emmons PP recorded direct.

Rick, is this a new product? It doesn't seem visible on this side of the ocean. Do you have an eBay link?

Here's the link. It's listed as in ear monitors, but it has nothing to do with in ear anything. It's just a wireless transmitter and receiver that you use with your existing headphones. I just lucked up on it while surfing. I've been using it a lot and I really like it.

I ordered some from Ali Express. (different brand silkscreen) I ordered the option of 1 transmitter and 4 receivers. This was just over 70.00 including shipping and tax.

I will follow up once I get them and do some testing. They should arrive any day now.

Thanks for the tip, Rick!

I received my order of 1 transmitter and 4 receivers. I need to make a correction - these from AliExpress are actually made a bit differently than Rick's but have the same specifications and features. They seem to work very well, but I haven't tried recording with them yet. Overall, I think that these will be a good option for group sessions.

If there are any negatives, I will post them. So far - all good.
