I have scans (somewhere) of Jerry's handwritten tablature for this song. Jerry had some very unique notation markings as I recall, takes some interpretation.

These videos have been available for a while so I assume most of us might have seen them...but JB playing the same song on a tricone on public tv:

The correct song title is Waikiki Chickadee. "My Little Chickadee" was a 1940 movie starring W C Fields and Mae West.

Growing up we had a Betamax tape of that movie! WC Fields was great (It's a Gift was my favorite).

I too was confused since the JB video also named it My Little Chickadee...part of the confusion may stem from that being the final words or hook of the song.

I would not be surprised if it turned out that the movie title inspired the song.

Like that old, pretty standard “Gone With the Wind”, I always assumed it was related to the 1939 movie adaptation.
So I was surprised to find out it actually came out before the movie and was just capitalizing on the book title, being otherwise totally unrelated Laughing
