Yet another update.

The ratio is somewhat askew. It's obvious, to me at least, that I am either wasting my time ... or just embarrassing myself here.

Back in 2006 I had both thumbs operated on. My CMC joints were shot. Partly due to my job, a machinist, but more likely it was hereditary. (both parents) The hand surgeon did an excellent job. My thumbs to this day are like brand new. I wish you the best if you get your fingers operated on and hope your surgeon is as skilled as mine was.
