Weissenborn tunings

A nice 6th tuning that a Weissenborn can use without changing strings or character is, DGEGBD. Just yr basic low bass open G with string 4 tuned up to E (from D)

I’m currently rocking a 7 string version on my lap steels, DGDEGBD.
