Hi all, is there a website/FTP server/something with a giant collection of Nashville number charts?
I'm running myself in circles, thinking "SURELY this exists already!" and that I just haven't found it yet. For example, I have a few PDFs from Johnny High that have somehow made their way to me, and as you'd expect, they're absolutely top notch in every manner. I have five, where are the other 995 that surely exist?
I'm currently getting ready for a gig, pulling charts together or making them for both myself and the bass player. Many I know, some I don't. The bass player is a great jazz player, but doesn't do much much country or western swing, so he doesn't already know the repertoire.
Ultimate Guitar is useless for this, because the chords-above-lyrics style only works if you are already familiar with the flow of lyrics. I need something that shows the passage of time i.e. measures (y'know, the kind of chart scribbled down in recording studios all over the world).
Please note I'm not asking for any particular chart. If it was only one song I'd chart it out myself in 10 minutes. It just seems a waste of time for me to chart out Walkin' After Midnight (for example) when I'm sure there's a perfectly notated, perfectly formatted chart that I could use, and instead spend that time charting the more esoteric songs on the list.
