I play at The Broken Spoke EVERY Tuesday night with Weldon Henson and Two-steppin Tuesday.
(8:15pm to 11:15pm)

Feb 9 at the White horse is Aaron McDonnell.

Ricky, good to hear you are still with Weldon, my nephew saw him recently and there was no steel, glad you're still with him!

Yeah Craig; I play all over Texas with Weldon at all places; But I ONLY play the Broken Spoke in Austin; as I do not play any other bars in Austin(unless private corp. gig)and Weldon; beside my judgment does play a few of those other bars in Austin(I've been playing for 35 year and are a waist of time); as that is NOT how you build your crowd; that is only how you thin out your crowd.

Not sure of the date when I will be in Austin. I have a brother inlaw lives there, probly be somewhere around the middle of Feb. not much going on here in Michigan.
Anyway happy newyear and keep on picking.

Jim,
Right now feb is looking light on the public gigs in austin for me but things always come up. There are usually a couple steel players a night at the white horse. I’ll post some stuff later when a few more things get confirmed. It’s a great town for steel guitar !

There is hardly any bands with steel players here, I was playing three nights a week back in 70s and 80s, not like that anymore. I play dobro also in church some. still some Bluegrass around. anyway hope you have a great year.
