Tony,
I have that single by Redd Peters! Pretty funny, but not for a "mixed" audience.
Did I mention that I once played in a band called "Methyl Ethyl And The Ketones"? I was Plastos Klutchum.

I've read through the whole thread with much amusement. Some very clever(sick)minds out there.
I'm suprised that no one has brought up the old chestnut...
"Joe Bananas and the Bunch" "Music with appeal"

A fellow player named me "Sam and the Samsonites" because of the other players I played along with, some of which was excess luggage.

I played in a band with a strange name.
"Dick Rutan and The Don't Do The Biscuits Band".

My given name is so common its sounds counterfeit.
In 1 band, The lead guitar player was Jack Smith. The Band leader would introduce us, Lead and Steel, Allious Smith & Jones.

Hilarious thread. Went back and read most of it over again.

Herald of the Cumberlands bluegrass band talked about the Zazzoff Brothers. Stompy, Kicky and the sorriest one, Ronnie....and their little dog...Licky.

We played a lot of non-union gigs, so I went by Sonny Pleasure for 3 or 4 years. After graduating med school, I was promoted to Dr Pleasure.
