Just tried watching the show. I quit after about 30 minutes. It is amazing how they can call that Country Music. I understand that we all have our different choices but it is sold as country music. So Sad. All I heard was noise. J.R.

Yeah, and It's not about pining for the old days anymore. Commercial music's main target audience is teaching youth that drinking is cool.

I didn't watch the show, but one of my favorite artists was on there-her name is Carly Pearce. I love how she features the dobro in her songs! The country music I listen to mainly is 90s country and classic country because the songs were popular when I was a kid and a teenager. The classic country artists, people like Hank Williams, Ray Price, Merle Haggard, and many others are country music legends, and a lot of the 90s country songs got me interested in playing steel.

Brett,my band plays about 75-80% 90's country- it appeals to multiple generations, plenty of steel licks, alot of sing- alongs.

Brett. My son and two nephews are 28, 26 and 21, and are all totally into 90's country as well as newer groups, but they all love that era and are finding stuff I never even heard before!

Good one! County music, these days, sounds like the mix engineers are mixing drums and bass like rap music.
