GOT UP EARLY THIS MORNING EARLY, TRYING TO FIGURE OUT A POPPING NOISE IN MY AX.I DECIDED TO POST MY TROUBLE. BY 10 AM I HAD 27 E-MAILS OFFERING ADVICE AND HELP IN ANY WAY THEY COULD ASSIST. WHERE ELSE COULD YOU GET HELP LIKE THIS. WE ALL HAVE THE WORLD AT OUR HANDS JUST FOR THE ASKING. THANKS GUYS, J W DAY |

After many helpful E-Mails,one gent said to be sure and check the bakelite selector switch on the tone defeat. It's hard to spot under all of the pulls and cross shafts, but sure enough, it is pulled loose on one end. I'm hoping this is all of the problem. Heck, you would think that A small switch would last longer than 25 years Thanks Fellows for all the help, JW Day |
