| Seriously...Check the underside of your machine with the appropriate screwdrive for any loose screws. After some years, the wood on the guitar tends to dry out leaving screws that require torquing. This is a common condition found in older pianos. The sound board will buzz and often a clacking of wooden parts can be heard from the action. I found that my MSA, with a laminated deck, required 1/4 to 1/2 turn to secure the four screw that hold the changer to the neck. Watch not to use "irrational exuberance" on the torquing lest the neck become squashed and the surface laminate wrinkled. The procedure should add to the tonal qualities of the instrument and reduce some of the inherent cabinet drop. |

Some say if you tighten the screws too much on the neck of an Emmons p/p, it loses "that" tone.  |
