Changeable pickups is a good idea, but until it's done by a pickup manufacturer (and not just a guitar manufacturer), it won't fly.

Actually, the (changeable) pickups should be made tapped...and also be reversible! That way, you could take the pickup out, turn it around, plug it in backwards, and have a different impedance pickup!

Two pickups in one! Yippee!

This would be a great retrofit product (no switches to add), plus a big selling point on new guitars.

"Turn 'em arounds, and get new sounds!"

Jody's right, I should'a worked at Fender.

A really nice lighted fret board that wasn't removable like the old Gem Lights. Just flip a switch and the whole thing lights up. I still like the idea of a light inside the pac a seat too. When you open it, the light comes on. A good multi tool that cuts strings, winds then and is a hex wrench all in one. Better 6th strings!

How'bout a single coil pickup without the hum to go along with those changable mounts?

I would like to see someone make a fretboard that lights up enough to let you see the fret markers on a dimley lit bandstand.
