I noticed Aliss Boothe's post in the Wanted To Buy section for an Emmons pedalboard decal, and they (Emmons)said they only have the older style pedalboard decal.
They told me the same thing when I wanted to get one for my p/p. I went ahead and got one, even though it's not the correct one for my guitar.

My question is... I've never seen this decal on any Emmons pedalbar, no matter how old it is, and I've seen some pics of some very early Emmons'.

Anybody ever seen this before?
Thanks...

I believe its the decal used on the lap-style guitars offered by the former Emmons Guitar Co. Inc. Maybe the String Machine as well.

I believe the String Machine was a three channel distortion unit. Sorta a Fuzz Tone on steroids.

It's intention was to make your PSG sound like a string section.

Skip,
Check out e-bay under pedal steel guitar/all catagories. I think the decal you want is on there at this time.

If you need the correct decal for an Emmons pedal steel, we have them in stock, originals we got from Ron Lashley SR. several years ago.

Ron, Sr. gave me a few of those decals. He said he initially had them made for an electric guitar he was planning to produce in the late 60's/early 70's that never came to be. He showed me a couple bodies and I think there was one hanging in the store that wasn't for sale. The ones he gave me were black and some were silver.

I agree with Mike though, they were also likely used on the lap guitars. It wasn't used on the String Machine though. Here a quick shot of that:

Like to have me one of those...

Wow.... with those dealies on the wires it almost looks like it could do double duty as a polygraph....
Never seen one of those before.

Take this tip from someone who's learned the hard way - NEVER, when you're cleaning your pedal-bar, get that metal polish anywhere near the decal. It'll disappear with just one wipe!

I had a 70's push pull with that same decal on the pedalbar. Thought it was a misprint
