Hi folks, I am in the bay area for the next 8 weeks with my steel and I'd like to get together with other pickers to jam and share ideas and such. My cell phone no. is 510-712-4409. Or email me. I don't play E9. Thanks, Don

I'll jam with you Don. Of course we already have a plan to do that tonight so I guess that's moot. Anyone else?

Hi John, I'd love to see you bro. How long has it been?
John, I know you've been interested in getting into the C6th neck for a long time now and I get the feeling that you think its more difficult than it really is. The basics that is. And maybe you have some sort of mental block that scares you away from giving it a fair chance. Well, It ain't that hard at all. Years ago I heard Jeff Newman say that the C neck was easier to play than the E neck and I thought, "What?, He must be mistaken". That was before I started playing it. I'm no great player for sure but I can say now that it is as easy if not easier than the E neck. Jeff Newman was right as usual.
