Above link is to a 16 minute radio show by the Tommy Magness band in 1947 as broadcast on a Roanoke station.
All steel by Slim Idaho and he does carry on with tunes like "Cotton Eyed Joe", "Texas Playboy Rag", "Foggy River", and "Last Night".
Slim wears out a triple neck Rickenbacher, sounding much like Joaquin Murphey with a whiff of Noel Boggs.

There are still a few of us old Slim Idaho fans around. He was a few years ahead of his time.
