All of this is FWIW at the present time and is open to change/correction.

The last and only time I went the show was at the Harvey hotel, so it appears that the location has changed along the way. There were a couple of overflow hotels at that time that were directly next door to the Harvey. Easy walk from one to the other.

It is now at the Sheraton. There is another topic on the forum here that said that the rooms are sold out. The web site that I saw lists the overflow hotel as the Hilton.

From what I can tell from Google maps, the Hilton is across the freeway from the Sheraton.

I have never been to the area, but my gut tells me that if you think you're going to walk from one to the other you may be disappointed. The streets around freeway exits can be dangerous to and not friendly to walking.

It appears that there may be a couple of hotels on the same side of the freeway as the Sheraton, but I can't tell from the maps and I'm not familiar with the area.

I don't mean to undermine any arrangements between the hotels and/or the show, so apologies if that is the case. I only want to point out some information that I think may be true and/or important.

Re your question on crossing the Freeway. The last five years, I crossed the Freeway from the Days Inn to attend the TSGA Jamboree. There is a good sidewalk along the bridge across the Freeway. This coming show in March, I will be slightly further up Esters Blvd. to walk to the Sheraton. The first year I was at the Jamboree, I stayed at the Holiday Inn which is on the SAME side of the Freeway as the Sheraton. I guess this depends on ones' comfort level in walking that far, across the Freeway.

There is also the Red Roof Inn in Esters Blvd, I have stayed there a few times too - just need to walk back over the over bridge over the freeway ...as mentioned by Jim there is a sidewalk so no problem! and shuttles if it's raining :_}

Google maps shows a 7 minute walk from Red Roof Inn . 0.3 miles. Not bad if the weather is nice. I might add the Westin is a very nice place also , with fantastic beds. They run shuttles also best I remember.

Holiday Inn Express is also a good alternative.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express across and to the North of the Sheraton. It was a pretty easy walk...we also drove over a couple times but it seemed we had to park so far away that it might have been shorter to walk.

It seem they were an overflow hotel and had a great room price....

What are the room rates at the Sheraton?
I’m booked at the double tree and they charged over $100 a night is it more or less at the Sheraton?
