You seldom see anything about Selmer instruments and amps. Here's some info I stumbled across this week ..

Interesting stuff Andy !!

The schematics list for Selmer amps is on EL34.com site, the tube amp place for builders etc...

I'm old enough to have owned an original Selmer Amp from new in the 1950s. Triangular in shape with twin 12 inch speakers, blue & cream with gold piping, and a green oscillator magic eye thing on the front. one of the things I wish I had today, if they come up on Fleabay you need a Mortgage to bid. The Selmer Zodiac Twin 30

Thanks for that Andy. I have a Selmer lap steel, similar to that shown in the second image (with the TV8) on the site. The cord is hard wired which although annoying, it's clear that the guitar was made this way. I never knew why but now I know!
