I have started a steel page
Arriving in Nashville in 1989 I went on a Canadian 3 week fill in tour playing steel for Alan Jackson.
I worked with Tim McGraw 2 years plus I was the staff steel guitarist in 89 and 90 on the Country Music USA Show at Nashville's now defunct Opryland USA theme park.
I've also toured with everyone from Dale Watson to Ty England, Whitey Morgan, Lucky Tubb, Marty Haggard, BB Watson, Jeff Carson, Leroy Van Dyke and many more.
I was the FIRST owner of Steelseat .com and built seats for about 7 years. Before I went 100% direct I had 7 dealers in 7 States.
I have samples of my playing and will be adding other stuff.
I play an 82 Pro II Sho Bud with microphonic stock pickups and usually play through an old original Nashville with the silver corners or my fav amp which is a 77 original LTD in the small cab which has the same guts as the original Session 400.
I do not personally care for the 'mods' that are often installed in these amps as to my ear it increases the mid range tones too much for my ear.
I use an old Goodrich L120 pedal and don't change the strings until they usually break. LOL
My favorite steel shop is without a doubt Jim Palanscars 'Steel Guitars Of North County' in Oceanside CA.
