Question: Are you sure you want a double neck? Many players only use the second neck as an arm rest.

You might be better off with a single neck.

I am not sure why I need 2 necks. What are some great single neck pro type models? Thanks.

The back neck is primarily use for playing jazz and swing. The front neck, is the country neck.

EVERY builder makes high quality single neck steels. You will get a good one no matter which brand you choose. A lot of people like the Zum Stage one and Encore, the Mullen Discovery and the Justice Pro Lite. I have no experience with any of these, so I can't say anything about them, pro or con.

What you want is a guitar with 10 or 12 strings, 3 pedal and 4 or 5 knee levers. That's more than enough to keep you busy for the next 10 years.
