One of my bands is a country/country rock/70's-80's dance band. I play multiple instruments, need effects for different sounds, ie organ, horns, distortion, chorus, wah, etc. Thus TO BE READY I need all of my "toys" at my finger tips, see below.

Drinking, no time to drink as the songs come rapidly, then I switch instruments, have to sing some. If they have me sweep off the stage after the gig I may have to draw the line.
I may have to buy a pilots head gear if this keeps up. _________________ '70 D10 Black fatback Emmons PP, Hilton VP, BJS bars, Boss GE-7 for Dobro effect, Zoom MS50G, Flamma Reverb, Planet Wave cables, Quilter 202 Toneblocks, Telonics 15” speakers.

Scott 10-4 good buddy.
Since getting hooked on that Zoom I bought another one just set up for distortion patches for various songs we play. Also available as a back up unit should one go down.
One unit, over 100 effects, $100 and they sound great. What is not to love, every steeler should have one, or two or three. Larry, our lead guitar player at church has my MS-50G borrowed and is thinking about buying one. He was using a whole pedal rack f stuff, now he's down to it and a BBE Sonic Maximizer. I may tell him to try it without the BBE, because I run Behringer's built in "Ultramizer" on our board. _________________ Amateur Radio Operator NA4IT (Extra)

Larry, looks like you need more stuff hanging off those legs, how about hanging a Peavey Session 500 hang from the right front leg of your steel, no need to turn around to adjust your amp. |

And it'll certainly keep the steel from wobbling, except just before it falls over. |

Kenneth, funny you should mention amp placement. In one of my bands I do exactly that!!! I need to keep the stage volume down, we mic everything so no need to play loud.
This is NOT what I have done for 45 years but I guess you can teach old dogs....
Since I preach intonation first, tone, then licks, you can really hear every note all the time. Starting to really love it. No more looking for your sound due to various room sizes, glass vs carpet, 50 more people just walked in or out etc.
BUT YOU NEED TRUST IN YOUR SOUND GUY, otherwise you might not be heard like you would like. _________________ '70 D10 Black fatback Emmons PP, Hilton VP, BJS bars, Boss GE-7 for Dobro effect, Zoom MS50G, Flamma Reverb, Planet Wave cables, Quilter 202 Toneblocks, Telonics 15” speakers.
