My little Dean Markley K15 is buzzing a fair bit. It's one of those very simple solid state power amps from the 90's.
I only paid $5 for the thing and I've since replaced the input jack and power switch, but now I want to do something about the buzzing if possible.
The buzzing drops almost completely away when plugged into a guitar, so it's not a huge deal that it buzzes when turned on by itself, but I wonder if there is a simple grounding issue I could attend to myself now that I'm fairly comfortable opening it up and mucking about. |

Sounds like the input Jack is not grounding when the guitar is unplugged. That would pick up hum and other noises |

Thanks Ken,
Is there a simple way to fix this or is it just something to live with? |
