This listing is for a 1972 Sho~Bud 6139 Pedal Steel Guitar and its original hard shell case.

The 6139 is a classic Sho~Bud design and is commonly referred to as an early Pro 1. It has a classic 1/1 changer and a rack & barrel undercarriage. These guitars sound amazing and have tons of classic Sho~Bud vibe.

Cosmetically the guitar is in good condition for its age but it is not perfect. There are some scratches and dings here and there but nothing too major. Most notable are some scratches on the body on the inner keyhead area. The aluminum is not as shiny as it once was but could be easily shined up, there are no deep scratches or gouges on the endplates. The case is in very good condition but it is missing the inner leather strap.

Mechanically the guitar is working great. The set up is standard Emmons E9 (abc) w/ the lever lowering the Es by 1/2. The pots, cap, Pickup & Switch are all original and the guitar really sounds great.

Thanks for Looking!

Alex, how do you guess someone could put scratches in that area of the guitar??? Sure looks like a sweet, unmodified earlt Bud. Art.
