Sure is, the had some great sound systems and amps. I had a complete Carvin system when I had a gospel quartet, and used an older model PB100-10 amp with a 4, 5 and 6 string bass that sounded fantastic. If I needed more umph out of it (big venue, outdoors) and link the amp into the PA, using the amp pointing at me.

I may, in fact, be nuts. However, I am screwed onto the right bolt... Jesus!

I still use a 12 channel Carvin PA amp/mixer,their 3 way speaker cabs and monitors.. all close to 20 years old and still working perfectly....Had their outboard gear back in the early 80's too... tough and reliable...going to miss them...America's finest ! Sad

Ive used Carvin gear since 1973 and my main 6 string is a 20 year old TL60 that has been through the wars.
I just recently built my steel amp using their BX500 bass amp and its the best tone Ive ever gotten.
Sad to see these pieces of music history slipping away.
71 years! Wow.
