I like 1st string F#>G# and 6th stringG#> F# both with splits.
The F#>G# has quite the throw. There are a bunch of older guitars that won't make a whole step raise on the first string. you can lighten the string gauge but I don't like the feel as a first string.
I use it the most for the unison sound with the 3rd string. That is probably the most heard new change that has made it onto modern country records.

With the "G" lever, the "D" lever and the "F" lever you can play the entire major scale, 4 notes at a fret on strings 4 - 1 with a double thumb style banjo roll.

You can also use the "G" lever with the "C" pedal to phrase 3 consecutive chromatic tones on strings 4, 1 and 3 with a backwards roll.

Both are far easier said than done, but very cool when you get it.
