I have used ytmp3.com to get mp3 file from YouTube videos to play with. It is easy and quick but it sometimes comes up with a distorted audio.

I also have Nero 2017 but that confuses the h#!! out of me. I blame it on age.

Anyone know of an alternative?

Thanks, JimE

I always use Audacity. Just check the record volume before you
record and look for peaks and adjust if needed before recording.

http://convert2mp3.net/en/ convert to mp3 or video and download. I have been using this for a while. Works good.

Both of those links go to websites that are compromised with malicious scripts. The websites themselves are okay, but the background scripts are blocked by Malwarebytes as known infection vectors.

Were these scripts not blocked, other content would load from the hostile URLs, leading to who knows what badness.

I will monitor those links and see if the warnings stop. They may be related to malicious ad servers.

If the warnings stop, I'll remove my warning from your links.

The warnings about blocked websites are still occurring, at 6:28 EST

I've been using, without problem, Peggo.tv or

Peggo.co (not .com) without problems.

Carl, Audacity will do it, but it does it in 'real time' . .
'Actual' time, that is. Other links discussed here are
ones that download the audio as fast as your internet
speed allows, as opposed to recording audio in real-time.

The two links I said were getting flagged by Malwarebytes are now showing as safe to load. But, both suffered from poisoned ad scripted attacks. You should either browse there with NoScript add-on for Firefox, or have an ad blocker engaged to block the hostile ad networks that slip in via redirects in hidden iframes.
