A few years ago I traded for a DR kit, and actually "finished" it a couple of years ago. Problem was, it had a bug, after pulling my hair out trying to find it, I put it up and moved on to another project. I got it back down, and this time I found someone has misread the multiplier stripe on one of the resistors, replaced it, and all is well! I did put the channels in phase, (with reverb on both), and made the "Normal" channel brighter, (maybe too bright with a Tele!) Also added a switch to the trem, that takes it out of the circuit. Had to do some mods to the cab, but think it looks OK. I used a multitap OT that switches to 4 ohm when a plug is in the AUX jack.

Great appearance! I really like the knob style and color. Haven't built a kit in many years but this would be a great one to build.

It is a Weber kit, I made the boards, (I like turrets).
I had to modify the cabinet, the chassis stuck out of the front, and there was a gap above the baffle. I moved things back, and made a spacer for the gap, (the "racing stripes" cover the extra chassis holes!) I asked Weber for a brown face plate, but it is plastic.
After all is done, I think sourcing your own parts is best, not a kit.

But you just cannot beat the price of a Weber kit, even if you have to replace a lot of the parts.

I agree, turrets are more reliable than the eyelets Fender used in the original Deluxe Reverbs.
