Just picked up this Origin Effects SlideRig Compact Deluxe pedal today. Day-um!!!

Basically, it's two UREI 1176 studio quality compressors (like Lowell George used to get his slide tone) shoved into a compact pedal.

Simply amazing sustain and dynamics. Plus it FEELS great under your fingers........like the string is reaching out and grabbing the slide. I've got my little Princeton Reverb set dead quiet here in the basement, and it just sings. Can't wait to gig it! I'm only a few minutes into this little gem, and it's easy to see how deep and quality a unit it is.

Quick little demo on armpit axe, right after I got it and plugged it in. I look forward to giving it a workout on my lap and pedal steel.

Got one last summer, love it, incredibly transparent compressor (actually, 2 compressors in one box), great for six string slide, goes into an overdrive pedal nicely.
