I made this string puller from1/2 inch 6061 aluminum 3 inches long and drilled .090 hole. The knurling helps holding the rod when pulling a string. The standard delrin rod to pull the string is OK but using this feels beefy.

Anyone that makes and sells tuning wrenches could add this to their line.

Looks good Lenny. Why don't you announce it over on the New Products board and try selling them?

Thanks Jerry. I know there are some players that make and sell knurled tuning wrenches and they could offer this string puller. I made it for fun and practice on my new lathe.
