Here's one of my favorite tunes from Curly's album "Big Hits On Big Steel".

absolutely beautiful... unmistakable Chalker style ... I would almost bet my life he is playing this tune on his MSA ... but regardless of the guitar, he was a true stylist, you can recognize him by his playing after first 30 seconds in the song...great ...thank you....

Bobby,
Are you sure? I thought it was a Sho-Bud in those days.

I'm sure. Just a Sho~Bud guitar and amp for the cover. Shot made out on that deal. Recorded in 1965 if I remember correctly.

What an incredible right hand Chalker had. Simply astounded every time I hear him play.

In October 1972 in an interview with Tom Bradshaw, he told Tom the album was done on the 2000 in spite of the picture of the Bud on the cover.
