I have the pleasure of hearing Rick Price play with Jake Hooker, Darrell McCall and Justin Trevino this past weekend at the Cowboy Gathering in San Angelo, Texas. Rick was amazing. He's like a walking encyclopedia of great steel licks. I don't think I heard him play the same lick twice during two days. He's such a great player!

Rick swears he's retiring at the end of the year.
I'm supposed to go up and visit with him and pick up some of his hot licks since he won't be needing so many in the future.  |

Two of the best steel players around were in San Angelo this past weekend for sure.
Rick Price w/Jake,Darrell,and Justin along with Jody Cameron w/Jeff Woolsey and The Dancehall Kings.
Those 2 guys tore it up.
