"The Weaver" brand guitars?

Came across this almost-local CL add. Just curious if anyone knows the maker, or has tried one?

That 8 stringer for $459 looks like a decent deal. Definitely some pretty wood...

If I wasn't 2/3rds of the way through building myself an 8 string, I'd seriously consider at least checking one out.
