TRADED, NOT for sale
1932 National Style 3 Square Neck, a real beauty, $5,950 +$100 ship/insure
I've only had this incredible tricone instrument for a month...but its arrival started off a tricone obsession with me, and I've got a line on a one-of-a-kind, rather more expensive one, that I can only get if I let this one go.
The same thing happened to the previous owner! True love, and then something else catches your eye...I'm going to miss this one, but there you have it...
I'll let Dana tell you about this one himself, here is its story from a month ago, with more pictures:

As John Dopyera said, "Tricone music flows like water". Single cones were only invented to allow selling a cheaper model (National, biscuit), or because the patents prevented other tricones (OMI, spider)...
Tricones have built-in mechanical chorus, reverb and compression, great sustain, from the interaction of the 3 cones...great for any kind of music.
p.s. I'm going to need more $$ for the new one, so if you see anything non-tricone you like in my signature, it also is for sale, or will be shortly...let me know if you are interested.

OK...it was part of a trade for a Tim Scheerhorn Tricone, one of only 3 he made....I'm gonna miss the Style 3, it sounded sweet, but the Tim should make up for it...
Here's Randy Kohrs playing one of the other 2...
