A few lookers, and some interest. This is a killer sounding guitar guys. You will spend a lot more money for comparable tones. |

Yamaki made the BEST sounding MIJ acoustic guitars ever built during the "lawsuit" days.. Yamaha made a good sounding acoustic, and still does, but the yamaki guitars were 2 steps above tonally.. I had one, and it was probably the best sounding acoustic I ever owned, and that includes, Gibson, Guild,Yamaha, Ovation,Framus, and a dozen other USA, Euro ,and MIJ brands.. the complexity of the sound was beyond comprehension.. I have no idea how they did it, but tonally my Yamaki was on a par with a vintage Gibson Hummingbird a friend owned, and sounded better than a Guild D50 I had as well..bob _________________ I'm over the hill and hittin'rocks on the way down!

Thanks for your input on these unknown guitars. I agree. The tone of the Yamaki's is as good as it gets.
Don't know how they do it, but they do it right. |

Thanks Orlando. It sounds even better than you said that it sounded. I really enjoyed meeting you this evening. I pray that you and your family stay safe during the hurricane.

Chris
You should have bought it. This guitar was a steal for the price.
It went to a great home. Duncan, it was my pleasure meeting you too! Stay safe during the storm amigo. |
