Of course I still miss Ricky Davis but I'm looking forward to seeing Dale Watson at the Narrows Center for Arts...great small venue. I forgot who his steel player is now but he does some nice work on that vintage double neck ShoBud.

We'll be there early getting a seat right up near steel man Don Pawlak. Looking forward to meeting him and enjoying the show!

Great show last night and Don Don was his usual best all night. We brought a few new people to the show and they all loved it.

Enjoy the show Tony!

Omg what a great show. The personification of country honkyonk music, preserved and perfected. Bare simple instrumentation lets the songs shine unclutteted. Don Pawlak has taken Dale's sound to a new level with some very inventive and unpredictable steel licks. Impeccable playing all around but it's the man himself, Dale Watson, with instantly likeable original songs and non stop entertainment and engaging with the crowd.
Had s nice long chat with Don Pawlak after the show and got some insight into his approach and what it's like touring with Dale.

Hi Tony, Sister Jo Vierra and I enjoyed being there with you and we`re still in shock. Your accurate description leaves me speechless. Thank you for persuading me to go as Roger Trahan`s quadruple bypass surgery had changed my plans. Dale Watson is unbelievable!
