I'll spare you the backstory but it's here if you care: http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=279940&sid=b80ee3cd9166b594ae3864c5052e7d4d

Anyway, I got this steel back from James but he was too sick to fully complete the job. I want to make this guitar playable again but I need parts. Four legs, pedal rack, tuners, helper springs, all the pull rods, and a case to put it in.

I've asked a few forumites if they would take on the task but so far no one is interested. Perhaps they're wise not to take on someone's unfinished headache!

That said, I'm willing to put it together myself if I can get the missing pieces. Michael Yahl at PSG parts was mentioned to me as a source, and he certainly has some of what I need, but I didn't see the pedal rack, legs, or tuners on his website.

Ideas? Respond here or Email/PM if you prefer.

Greg, please check your PM. You are only 2 hours from here. Lets discuss your guitar and weigh the options.. A "real" Bud pedalboard might be a tough find, but new ones can be made, and the Bud stickers are available.. 3 original pedals won't be easy these days, but you might luck out . One question.. Do you want a restoration to original, or simply a good playable guitar??.. If it were mine, I would have a pedalboard made, and use brand new MSA style pedals, if original Bud parts could not be located.. In any case, talk to me before you decide...bob
