This tune is Tough to play. I learned this by using "Jan Jonsson tab...His is some of the best I ever used. Its on this Forum...and its free to anyone that wants it. I think that was very nice of Jan. Thank you Jan Jonsson for your awesome tab...And Thank You Lloyd Green for your Beautiful Music...Lloyd's Music gets in to my very Soul. When it comes to playing melody...Lloyd is the King. I'll never be able to play like Lloyd...but it sure is a lot of fun trying. Im sorry for the mistakes and pedal noise.

Well played Bill, I enjoyed that very much. I feel the same way as you about Lloyd and his playing. I had a go at this a couple of weeks back on non pedal Guitar using my own backing track and no tabs.

How Kool is that Bill.
As usual, I was late to the party and just heard you do this on youtube today.
I was looking after trying to remember the melody to try on my lap steel.
Wow Bill. That is a really nice cover of one of the best new tunes I've heard in a long time.
I also saw Lloyd play it twice at the Texas Jamboree. I was also in the hope he would do his cover of Ashokan Farewell, but that didn't happen.
I'll look for more of your playing.
Best wishes,

Great playing and very beautiful Bill! Yes that composition is a masterpiece and will be playing centuries after Lloyd Green is gone. Just when we think Lloyd is through he gives us another one that's even better. The Master of Steel. |
