Are those some kind of Bill Lawrence pickups on there now?? Yes; the best single coil pickup made is the TrueTone and me and Jerry Wallace have come up with the perfect winding for the true shobud sound and that is 17,500 ohms.
Two TrueTones wound to that; will make this possibly the best sounding Sho-bud you've heard from this era.

yes Sir, 705's .... it is a wonderful guitar indeed, I love Sho~Bud, and Sho~Bud like this was the very first pedal steel I've ever seen ... so these guitars have a special place in my heart

thank you my friend, now after hearing that, the guys in the band liked it so much they want me to play more, I was just trying to add a little color to the song, but now I'll have to do more work lol .... but I was very surprised by this guitar, it really did a great job, played and sounded great...
