I'm selling this half size violin that I've had for 35 years. This is no ordinary violin, it will play with a full size with its tone. It was made in 1928 and the pics depict the maker. I was told by a violin appraiser informally in like 1980's that it was worth upwards of $2500. His name was Huleo and was from San Antonio. Don't recall his last name. He offered me 2k for it at the time but didn't want to sell. Wanted to keep for my kids to learn but neither were interested in music. It's not in perfect shape because has some worn places on the sides which maybe pictures show. Body is in good shape and tunes and plays great. Sounds like a good full size violin.

I've done a lot of research trying to find its exact worth but can't find much on this exact maker. I think it's worth $2500 just the way it plays. I'm asking $1200 for it. There is no bow and has a shabby case but will be packed right for shipping. As the pics show, it is a one piece back with beautiful wood. The is a small crack in top on left side of bridge that I believe has been repaired.

This would be an excellent violin for a child to learn on or even a smaller person to play all time. It is 1000 times better that those half size ones I see kids learning on now. If I had to play one of those, I'd quit, lol. Please PM me for more info or pics, thanks.
