Hey guys,

Some of you already have listened to my playing a bit, but I would love some critique and opinions on my new tune. Note my unique 12 string C6 copedent, where I have added all notes chromatically from strings 12 to 9 between pedals and knees (I can post it if anyone cares to see)

I hope you enjoy "Walk the Walk.."

I don't play C6 or jazz, but it sounded cool to me!

Very nice, Brian. I like your right hand. A cool combination of what I call "flat hand" (like Doug Jernigan) and Jeff Newman's concept for right hand position: karate chop hand onto the strings, curl them over and pretend your cupping an egg, setting up a good position for palm blocking.

Cheers everyone!

Check out my copedent:

Let me know if that isn't clear enough, as its only a screenshot from my cell phone. The guitar was set up to this copedent by the one and only John Widgren, who is a wonderful player, tech, and an even better & kind person. Took me a few months to really settle on the copedent, but there's nothing that can't be done with this setup, absolute game changer for me.

My friend, Hal Merill, plays jazz pedal steel here in Seattle. He plays on his C6 neck on an old MSA. I've played piano for him. He's amazing!

I dig the unique chromatic approach.

wow thats tons of pedals and levers. Cool vibe though.

I'd definitely try an E13 if I had that many options of pedals and levers. Just lays out more like Guitar positions and fret markers.

Thanks Stefan! I really got used to the positions on C6, but E13 would definitely work awesome. Would be lots of alterations to the steel & muscle memory which would certainly be quite a bit of hok. I really love the tone of the fat C6 gauges!
