Here's a jewell with Emmons back in the 50's with Dickens.

When I played With tater for about a year in the early 80's he told me that Emmons was real quiet back then. They had just finished a show and they all loaded into a cadillac headed for the next gig and Tater had just got done telling the band off for something they did. Out of the blue Emmons said out loud, "I'm a son of a bitch ain't you!" They all broke into laughter and the telling off was in history then. From that day on, Tater always used that saying.
