Hey, Folks!

Recently caught this beautiful performance on a '36 Gibson EH-150.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNxsk7Yqdlk

Two questions for you experts:

1) What pick-up is on this one (and what contemporary pickups are close to that sweet sound)?

2) What tuning is he playing in?

Thanks!

Not sure about the tuning. The pickup is a straight bar pickup with unbound black bobbin,
and sounds very good to me. I have a Gibson E(H)-150: early 1936, and they are a great
steel, if you can find one in good condition at a reasonable price.
