Hey Chris! Hope you're doing well Up North!

My dentist is father of the Barr Bros. I might check with him .. .but I'll bet someone else chimes in.

Be well . .. don't forget Dallas 1984 [?]

Forum member, John Hopkin, says he is introduces the steeler as "Joe Grass" after the second song, though he's not positive of the spelling. A fine example of the steel in "Americana" music.
HELLO, CHRIS BROOKS!!!!

Yep, Joe Grass. By the looks of things, his Ebow battery must be dead...

There's been many a time I WANTED to take a hacksaw to my steel - looks like he's gone and done it! Laughing

Hi back atcha, Chris! Yes we've come a long way from that Dallas (?) show in 84. But we still survive! :>)

Are you anywhere near the White Mtns of NH? Or Burlington? I go up there every summer.

Be well, my friend.

Chris

Joe is a hell of a musician! He also plays guitar and steel with Patrick Watson. He plays some great steel on Patrick's album "Love Songs for Robots". Joe also plays dobro, fiddle, banjo, engineers and produces records, and who knows what else.
