I'm reluctantly putting this one up for sale--I have an opportunity to pick up an elusive guitar that I've been after for a long time, but the only way to make it happen is to move some of my best stuff. I reserve the right to pull this ad if the instrument sells (which I expect will happen quickly).
This is a 1932 Style 3 "Lilly of the Valley" pattern (my favorite). My partner bought it from the original owner--I lusted after the guitar for a long time and finally was able to acquire it from him. At one point we had five vintage National Hawaiian guitars (styles 1-4) between us, and this one was the best sounding of the bunch!
The condition is unreal, especially given it's age--one of the cleanest I've seen. It was set up by Don Young at National Resophonic before he passed away.
I can provide more detailed info and pics to those with serious interest, but wanted to get an ad up quickly for the aforementioned reasons. Hard to find in this condition for sure! SOLD.
Thanks! Dana

I had one of these about thirty years ago. Maybe the prettiest resonator guitar I've ever seen.

...and in a crazy moment, mostly thanks to Ken Pippus' advice (he happened to drop by as I was looking at this), I'm going to be giving this beauty its next home...
