where could i find a pair of amplified earphones with a 1/4 inch jack for practice? i have found some but i need a pair with the 1/4 inch jack i had a pair but they wore out.

You can use a stepdown adaptor...1/4' to 1/8'

| i had a pair that needed a 9 volt batt.you could just plug into your guitar and practice with i guess a pair would have to have a battery to use right off your guitar?? |
