What speakers are you guys with the SS using? I just bought one on eBay, even though I can't really afford it without selling off some stuff, but it's so hard to sell anything these days. I couldn't help it, that black on black was too pretty. Laughing

Yes, that would work. I like pedal steel through a 12" speaker.

Another good one with less weight.

I got the amp in today, and hooked it up to my 1X15 closed back cab with JBL D130F, what a tone!!! This thing sounds incredible, I am way happy and so motivated to play and get better. Smile

Congrats on your new steel rig. I bet it sounds superb! Glad the new amp has provided you with a renewed motivation to practice/play.

I am trying one with a B/W 1501, think it is going to be great.

I started out using my old D130F in a closed back cab, sounded real nice. Then I ordered up a Mojotone 1X12 and bought a PF 350 to put in it. Maybe it still needs breaking in, but the JBL sounded better.

JBLs always sound better, they just can't always take the power. If you need to play really loud, you have to compromise.

Yep, I didn't think it was going to last with this amp. but it did come in my old Vibrosonic Reverb and that's a 100 watter. Not all that big a difference to worry about, anyway.
I have an EV 15L that I could try in that cab...
