I decided to get a stand for my 1936 May Bell guitar.

I read a lot of good things said about the Deluxe 34 stands so I contacted Mark and I discovered that he has a new model reso stand that is a bit smaller. Since my May Bell is a 24" scale & smaller than a Dobro I decided to buy the new model reso stand with four legs.
What a great decision that was! Mark's stand is outstanding. It is sturdy, well designed, lightweight, comes with a soft case, and is reasonably priced. What more could you want?

Totally agree.....i got one for fathers day gift from family and am very pleased with it for all the reasons you mentioned

Well, so far it doesn't move. The cork seem to hold it in place. The other two bars grab it at the waist.
I'm going to put a rubber band on the output jack down to the rear support nut. Just need to find the right size band.

That is a great stand. I have a dobro, and am kind of small framed and a stand would be a lot more comfortable than trying to hold it on my lap.
