I really enjoy your style of play. Beautiful music. I play 6string Lap Steel since almost two years and untill now I was learning the version which is explained by Basil Henriques. But your version sounds much better for me. Maybe I can play it on my Lap Steel, too?

Magdalena,
I am grateful for your appreciation. Blue Hawaii has been played by many fine steel guitarists. I played here my own version with some improvisation. This was based on following the chord structure for the most part, but then adding some variations (you will notice the occurrence of the E chord which is four frets down from the base chord of Ab, the key of the tune). I also added intermediate and passing notes with some variation in timing. I find C6 to be a very versatile tuning.
Enjoy your steel guitar journey!

This a bit off topic, but does anyone know what brand of Lap Steels those 2 are in the picture? I like to build and am interested in knowing the length, width and thickness of those 2 beauties. I especially like the sunburst one.
Thanks in advance.
