It is time to sell down some more.
I have 4 pedal steels so I will let this one go.
This is a fantastic sounding and playing guitar, I am in no way unhappy with it. I am listing it because I seem to be a tad too small to actuate the knee levers without taping wood blocks to the levers. I bought two exact replacement teardrops with adjusting screws that go with this. I put one on which helps some, but I still need blocks.
Serial number 9690, built Oct 1975. Original pups which do not have extra taps and are strong. Original case in decent condition.
This guitar was serviced just prior to my purchase.
It has never left my house and is in a smoke free home.
The guitar sits solid and is set up typical Emmons.
I am asking $2300 which includes shipping in the contiguous 48 states. To go elsewhere, I will need compensation for any shipping cost over the $150 mark.

For Dick, I know this guitar very well ! It was totally refurbished/cleaned/polished in June of 2015 all the way down to the changer fingers. This particular Sho Bud has something extra in the tone department.
Better than a great Steel !

Indeed a very special tone!! When I listened to the link you gave me playing it straight, well that just did me in!!
Honestly. if no one wants this unit I will not be sad at all. I've been hesitant to move the two levers for not wanting to add more screw holes underneath but now I think big rip!! A couple more little holes underneath isn't going to ruin the value of this legend.
It really is a wonderful guitar to sit behind and play.
I will leave this up for a little while longer.

Perhaps some good pedal blocks would work? Hahahaha.
My only Grandson Hector loves his Papa's steel guitars.
every time he comes over, he has to sit behind the guitar.
